What you need

  • 8 slices of rye bread
  • 8 slices corned beef
  • 8 slices Mainland Swiss Cheese
  • Mayonnaise
  • Red cabbage, shredded and fried in butter
  • Optional: sauerkraut

Here's how it's done

  1. Lay out four slices of rye bread and spread with mayonnaise
  2. Top with slices of corned beef and Mainland Swiss Cheese, followed by red cabbage and mayonnaise, mixed with sauerkraut if using.
  3. Top with another piece of rye bread and enjoy!
