Double Decker Burger
An under 30 min burger recipe

This beef and cheeseburger reboot is as simple as they come. The secret is quality beef mince, nutty Swiss cheese and plenty of pickles!

What you need

  • 4 large lettuce leaves, washed
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 500g beef mince
  • Pickles
  • Mustard,
  • Mayonnaise or aioli
  • 8 slices of Mainland Swiss cheese

Here's how it's done

  1. Shape mince into 8 patties and fry in a pan or on the BBQ.
  2. Place lettuce leaves on plate and top with two-three slices of tomato.
  3. Add a double stack of beef patties and Swiss cheese slices.
  4. Top with mayonnaise and mustard mayo and homemade mixed pickles.

Serving Suggestions

Add some grated carrots to your mince before cooking to sneak some veges in – noone need ever know.
