Broccoli with Garlic Butter & Almonds
So simple but an oh so delicious broccoli recipe

This superfood gets a delicious and oh-so-easy makeover with the welcome addition of almonds and garlic butter. A side dish to sigh over.

What you need

  • 1 head broccoli
  • 1 clove garlic, finely sliced
  • 25g Mainland Original Butter
  • 1/4 cup almonds, sliced

Here's how it's done

  1. Break off the florets of broccoli and chop into quarters.
  2. Place a fry pan onto a medium heat and add the butter.
  3. Add the broccoli to the pan and cook until it browns, making sure you turn it every few minutes.
  4. Add the sliced almonds and cook for a minute or until they start to turn golden brown.
  5. Add minced garlic and salt and pepper and cook for a further minute, being careful not to burn it.
  6. Pour broccoli and almonds onto a plate and serve
