Feta Whatever Dip Recipe
Our five ingredient feta recipe

This feta recipe has so many uses – as a dip, topping or sauce – all whipped up in less than 10 minutes and five ingredients.

What you need

  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 200g Mainland Special Reserve Creamy Feta 
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 12 mint leaves, finely chopped, plus extra leaves for garnish

Here's how it's done

  1. Cover peas with boiling water in a heatproof mixing bowl and stand for two minutes.
  2. Drain well, then mash coarsely with a potato masher or fork.
  3. Crumble in the creamy feta and mash, or whizz with a hand-wand mixer for a smoother texture.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice and mint, and chill until needed.
  5. Garnish with mint and serve with corn chips, baby carrots, celery and cucumber batons or crusty bread.

Serving Suggestions

Great as a topping for crostini or bruschetta, fancy it up with cherry tomatoes or mint leaves, dolloped onto a baked potato or as a topping on barbecued lamb.
