One-Step Berrylicious Ice Cream

Seasonal strawberries make this natural frozen yoghurt ice cream a summer essential for your freezer.

What you need

  • 2 punnets (500g) strawberries, hulled
  • 300g  De Winkel All Natural Plain Unsweetened Yoghurt
  • 300ml Anchor Cream
  • 2 cups icing sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice


Here's how it's done

  1. Place everything in a food processor and blend until it is very thick and smooth (you can also use a hand wand mixer).
  2. Transfer to a freezer-proof container, cover and freeze until fully set (at least six hours). It will keep for several weeks.
  3. Remove from freezer 10 minutes before serving to allow to soften a little. 

Serving suggestion

Spoon into iceblock moulds for a simple summer treat for the kids. Once they are fully frozen take them out of the moulds and store in sealable bags.
